What an absolutely brilliant day that was!!!

Thank you to everyone who came, took part or helped out - this event truly was a success.
The day kicked off at 10.45 by the churchyard gate where the deputy mayor opened the Fayre. We then had regular performances from the Morris Men, Arabian Fantasy, Ye Essex Baebes and others; In the street were over fifty craft stalls, various entertainers, horse and cart rides, a blacksmith, and live music.

Throughout the event, the ROYALS hosted an art exhibition and Rainham Hall was opened to the public. Fun in the park was a great success too with a dog show, free train rides, funfair, bouncy castle, miniature steam railway and plenty of food stalls.

We would like to thank everyone who helped us - both on the day and behind the scenes. Also, we would like to show our appreciation to all the businesses which advertised in our programme,

If anyone would like to submit articles for inclusion in our next Fayre programme or have adverts they would like to have published, please send these to R.A.V.E c/o 26 Broadway, Rainham, Essex or e-mail them here by the end of September.

We are constantly looking for new attractions for our two village Fayres. Are you a street entertainer? Do you belong to a local group that would like to attend? Have you got any new ideas, comments or suggestion?
If so, we would like to hear from you! Without your input, we do not know how you feel or what you would like to see changed or added. If you have any ideas, please post them to us!
